A Bit About Guard...

Well, for those of you who may not know what Color Guard is, in the marching band season we do shows with the band to make halftime interesting. We toss and spin flags, rifles, and sabres while dancing around the band (which is really difficult). I've been training since I joined, 3 hour rehearsals 3 days a week, plus home football games, plus Saturday performances all through September. All while juggling school assignments. It's definitely not for people who can't multitask. You have to multitask while doing other multitasking things. Anyway, in the winter we get to perform without the band, which is really nice. We don't have to worry about hitting a band member while we dance around them. Also, we get to be indoors for the winter season, which means the wind can't screw up my tosses. Hope that helped, I know it's a pretty brief explanation but if you still don't understand leave me a comment. Have good day and stay safe. 🙂
